The most important part of your table. My leads are 100% recycled, and each batch is poured on a wood fire — the weights are based on what goes into the melting pot, so after removing the dross the finished lead may well come in under the advertised figure. It varies; some batches are very clean, others not so. The lead will have veins and contours from the pour, and sometimes a rainbow sheen from naturally occurring impurities; both disappear quickly with use. 355mm × 355mm as standard, in 18, 20 or 25kg — generally, the thicker the lead, the longer it lasts. A 40mm hole for 38mm toads is standard, other sizes are options, or I'll leave the lead entire if you want to cut your own. Odd sizes are no problem — message me with dimensions. And if you'd rather avoid lead altogether, I offer a sheet-copper 'lead' that's 100% lead free — not quite the same to play, but the best alternative found to date, and there's one to try in the Black Horse.
